'Paranormal Activity' Trailer is Here Now
Are you scared?
Damn, no more than a few minutes after publishing the poster and saying the trailer should be online later this week does the trailer for Paranormal Activity arrive on Apple. The trailer makes use of night vision looks at audience reactions while watching the film, and based on those alone I can't wait to see it.
The film that was made for $11,000 follows a young, middle class couple who moves into what seems like a typical suburban "starter" tract house. They become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.
The film is set to hit limited theaters on September 25, but for more on the release plans and a look at the poster click here.
You can watch the trailer in high definition at Apple.

scared ? maybe not yet… but certainly interested… it sent chills down my spine… looks like it will be geniuinely scary… really looking forward to this movie.
Good horror movies are hard to come by these days, so anything that is legitimately freaking people out is something I'm up for. I'm interested.
We all know how much US cinema-goers over-react though – I've been to the cinemas in the US and seeing the audience is more of an experience than seeing the film sometimes…
Blair Witch was billed as the scariest movie of all time. I almost fell asleep.
My Little Eye – same thing was claimed. It was utter garbage.
The same for any horror film that is claimed to be the scariest film ever – complete and utter rubbish.
We shall see. As always, the trailer made the film look interesting.
As RJ said, US audiences are always over-reacting during horror movies. Especially younger audiences like the people in this screening. I'm not convinced, but that doesn't mean I won't check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by The Strangers last year, which I went into with extremely low expectations, so hopefully this will be alright.
