Paramount Remaking THE BAD NEWS BEARS
As if the recent onslaught of remake announcements wasn't enough Paramount Pictures has made the decision to remake the 1976 Walter Mattau starrer The Bad News Bears, this time inserting Billy Bob Thornton in the leading role. Joining Thornton are Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the writers and creative team responsible for Thornton's recent hit, Bad Santa.
