Paramount Goes Deep River
Deep River Productions (Laws of Attraction), operated by producer David Friendly and financier Marc Turtletaub, is expected to operate under a first-look deal at Paramount, where it has been developing a contemporary feature version of The Honeymooners for the past two years, and is set to begin lensing in late summer in Ireland, starring Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps in the Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton roles, respectively, with John Schultz directing.
Deep River also has set up insurance comedy Bad Risk and children's action-adventure Superkid.
