Best Actor – I really hope Leonardo DiCaprio makes the cut. The BFCA snub was actually shocking, I hope it doesn't mean he is out of the race. Maybe it's true that many of the voters didn't see it in time. I just can't imagine any other excuse for why DiCaprio and Shannon would be left off. They need Golden Globe and SAG come backs, bad.
When can we expect the review for Valkyrie? You have seen it Brad. right?
i love how the supporting actor & actress categories have no changes. it should stay that way all the way to the Oscars.
except, the way it seems to be going, it looks like josh brolin & heath ledger will be battling it out head-to-head till then. all the others seem to be overshadowed.
& i just had a thought: you think the Academy will pull a 'brokeback mountain/crash' at the last minute & give the supporting actor award to someone BESIDES ledger? would they really be that biased?
I've had worries about Ledger not winning at last minute, especially to Josh Brolin in Milk or something. I'd be furious.
@adu: Yup, gonna have to hold it due to embargo at the moment. Saw it last night…
@Chris: Well, be prepared to be furious. I don't think the academy give Ledger an oscar for batman. Even with all the hype.
Josh Brolin or Shannon will probably get it, and it will be well deserved.
Have you seen Gomorrah? It is not in your list.
@Peter Cat: Not yet, but I just received it yesterday and will hopefully have a review of it up soon as well as a review of Che.
