Ooo da Lali – Pacino the Dali
New role for the gruff one
Al Pacino will next be seen in Ocean's 13 in June, but after that he is already set to put in work on Dali & I: The Surreal Story for writer-director Andrew Niccol (Lord of War)
Pacino will play Dali in the movie, which will span the 1960s-80s, a time when most of Dali's great work was behind him and he became more flamboyant. The story also will focus on a mentor-protege relationship between Dali and Stan Lauryssens, a young art dealer.
Niccol is rewriting the script with anticipation of filming in June.
