On Set Looks at Spielberg's Munich Project
10 pics capture the mood in Malta.
Thanks to ComingSoon.net we learn that the obscure website di-ve has managed to obtain looks at the set of Steven Spielberg's latest flick, which began filming only about a week ago in Malta.
The website, based in Malta, was able to catch a glimpse at the production as it moved to Rabat on Tuesday where the crew was filming a seen in an old village dressed up to look like Rome.
The film itself is yet untitled and follows the kidnap and murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics in Munich.

Shooting took place on a corner restaurant adjacent to St. Paul's Church. The restaurant was disguised as a snack bar "Tavola Calda La Grotta" in the heart of Cavour Square in Rome. St. Paul's Square was adorned with lamp posts and a bus stop.
A number of original Lambretta scooters and Fiat Cinquecentos with Roman number plates, very popular in the seventies, were used in the shooting.
