Olyphant Tries to 'Catch' Garner
'Deadwood' actor joins rom-com with J-Gar.
Timothy Olyphant has recently been making a name for himself in the hit HBO series "Deadwood," but he looks to be taking a turn back to the big screen for a bit in a new romantic-comedy with Jennifer Garner, Catch and Release.
The film is being directed by Susannah Grant, who also wrote the screenplay, in her first directing turn.
The film finds Garner as a woman facing the sudden death of her husband and the secrets he kept from her. Olyphant will play a film director whose best friend dies on the way to his wedding. The director finds himself growing close to Garner's character.
Grant's work is not at all foreign to you as she was behind the screenplays for such films as Erin Brockovich, Pocahontas and the upcoming films In Her Shoes and Charlotte's Web.
