Official Site For 'A Mighty Heart' Live
Doesn't exactly sound like a fun night out at the movies, but could be powerful
A Mighty Heart, could be one of this summer's most potent adult dramas and the official site just went live. Directed by one of my favorite working directors, Michael Winterbottom, it stars Angelina Jolie as Mariane Pearl, wife of slain Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl. Pearl, you might remember was kidnapped and beheaded on video by a ruthless terrorist group in Pakistan only five years ago. The film, based on the book written by Mariane is about her efforts to uncover what happened to her husband, fighting through the bureaucracy both foreign and domestic.
The film, produced by Jolie beau, Brad Pitt, is set for a June 22nd release. You can visit the official site right here which right now only includes the film's synopsis and a few stills.
