While a bootleg version of the first trailer for The A-Team was swirling around the Internet all day on Friday, Fox has just made available the official version and I have it for you directly below.
The film, directed by Joe Carnahan (NARC and Smokin' Aces) is a feature film adaptation of the 1983-87 television series that starred George Peppard, Mr. T, Dirk Benedict and Dwight Schultz as a crew of Vietnam vets convicted of crimes they didn't commit. They escape and become a crew of armed mercenaries known as "The A-Team."
In Carnahan's film, scripted by the likes of Carnahan, Brian Bloom, Skip Woods, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, the Middle East will stand in for Vietnam and the story will be presented as an origin story starring Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton 'Faceman' Peck, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as Sgt Bosco 'B.A.' Baracus, Sharlto Copley as Capt. 'Howling Mad' Murdock and Liam Neeson as Col John 'Hannibal' Smith. Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson also star.
So now, check out the trailer below and let everyone know what you think in the comment section. This one hits theaters on June 11, 2010… are you looking forward to it?

I didn't really see enough of the characters who are kind of neccesary to the film to make a conclusion. Not sure what Neesons doing accent wise, Copley is actually doing a very good job from what I saw. I Though Mr T seems rather generic.
The action looks O.K but in todays Hollywood big budget action is pretty hard to majorly screw up on. Tank scene was awesome.
It could be good, just not the A-Team people know.
I was never looking forward to this, but it looks even worse than i expected from the trailer.
Another action movie I guess. Hey, it looks better than Knight and Day though.
Meh.
Looks bad.
Wow. Now I really want to see this movie. I can just tell Sharto Copley is gonna steal the show. Neeson, Cooper, and Jackson all look great as well.
Well, I'm excited.
awseome, huge fan of the original series, own em all,i personaly hope that they stay true to the original as much as possible, and rampage as Mr T. think its great, cant wait to see it
sick
Looks awesome. Liam, Sharlto, Bradley, and Rampage look like they will be a great A-Team. Looks funny and looks like it is going to have great action and this is definetley on my list of movie of '10.
I'm trying to figure out if "Helicopter vs. Tank in mid air" is really awesome or incredibly stupid. For some reason I can't figure out which.
That kind of sums up my feelings towards the film so far, I really want to like it and they went out and got some great people for the roles (Neeson and Copley are fantastic choices, Cooper could go either way, Rampage will do just enough to not be horrible) but it seems like it's already gonna be so over the top and cartoony that I might end up hating it.
I liked Carnahan's last movie "Smokin' Aces' so I'm willing to give it a shot.
This movie looks…entertaining. Just a flat out good action movie with a not-so-good plot.
@Trevor: thats actually a predator drone being shot by a tank in mid air, and yes you are right, thats one incredibly stupid tongue in cheek sequence.
Actually looks like it might be alright. I mean jeez, it's an adaptation of the freaking A-Team. The show was cheese, even for an 80's show, you can't expect the finished product to be the holy grail of action movies. I'm just glad Carnahan was actually able to get something on the screen.
It looks Re-Donkulous, but I will watch it and it will be a guilty pleasure.
Could end up being one of the worst films of 2010 or one of the break-out hits. I just hope its a whole lotta fun.
@J.J.: the only problem with that is lately the action movie audience has really adapted to the serious, realistic and frantic pacing of movies like, bourne, casino royale, taken etc, and now when a director comes up with a cheesy product (Transformers ROTF) it get shot down immediately. i think movie studios should be smart with the way push their product, like you said the show itself was cheesy as hell, so if they really promote this as action/comedy ala zombieland it might actually work.
@The Jackal: Agreed
Looks like stupid fun. Much like the GI Joe film.
Yeah, its gonna be just like GI Joe and Transformers 2. Fun to watch, but horrible to try and follow!
Im just amazed that they couldnt find one single actor that couldve better portrayed B.A. Rampage doesnt looks like he will be able to pull it off.
This looks so shite.
I would have gone to see it, right up until the feckin' tank starts falling. W…T…F!?
WHYYYYY WHYYYYY WHYYY did they all those endless list of producers on the production (count 'em!) have to go and feck it all up with that crap?
Looks like too many cooks spoiling the broth.
PLEASE PLEASE HOLLYWOOD… NEVER *EVER* TOUCH MY BELOVED 'AIRWOLF'!
Leave it in the 80s.
