It isn't any different than the international poster I showed you yesterday outside of the date and the fact it isn't in French, but it is finally a pristine copy of the slightly racy poster for David Fincher's adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and along with it I have added 15 high resolution screen captures from the trailer to the gallery for the film right here.

Based on Stieg Larsson's internationally best-selling novel, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a murder mystery looking as far back as 40 years at the disappearance of Harriet Vanger, a scion of one of Sweden's wealthiest families. All these years later, her aged uncle (Christopher Plummer) continues to seek the truth. He hires Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig), a crusading journalist recently trapped by a libel conviction, to investigate. He is aided by the pierced and tattooed punk prodigy Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara). Together they tap into a vein of unfathomable iniquity and astonishing corruption.

Check out the poster below and if you haven't yet watched the trailer for the film you can do that right here and remember to check out those screen captures here.

I can't imagine any major chain would even consider using this poster. That's not an attack on the poster (I think it's incredibly sexy and props for Sony for releasing it), but it's just the reality of America. I could see art houses using it, but it won't likely play at many art houses.
