Do any of you happen to believe in this number 23 mumbo-jumbo? Personally I think it is a bunch of hooey, but when you throw it into a movie environment you never know, it might be kind of cool and you are now going to be able to make your first initial decision as RopeofSilicon now has five new clips from the upcoming thriller starring Jim Carrey and Virginia Madsen.

The film is about a man (Carrey) whose life unravels after he comes into contact with an obscure book titled "The Number 23." As he reads the book, he becomes increasingly convinced that it is based on his own life. His obsession with the number 23 starts to consume him, and he begins to realize the book forecasts far graver consequences for his life than he could have ever imagined.

I love it when synopsises end with "could have ever imagined." That must have sounded so ominous in 1923... Oops, there is that 23 again! Anyway, did into the clips below and look out for The Number 23 as it just happens to have a release date of on February 23.
