No Vin for 'Hitman' Adaptation?! Olyphant Instead?
New report on the state of the vid adaptation
News is coming out of Ain't It Cool News that Vin Diesel has been dropped as the bald bad boy from the adaptation of the popular Eidos videogame Hitman.
Skip Woods adaptated the script and AICN is saying it has been given the greenlight, but it won't be Diesel in the title role as originally reported, instead it will be Timothy Olyphant. Don't let the smile from the picture throw you off, this guy just might pull this off better than Diesel ever could.
The report goes on to say "Luc Besson has just come aboard the film to co-produce along with Chuck Gordon, Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter, and the film should be in theaters as early as next fall from 20th Century Fox."
The story centers around an international assassin (Diesel) known as Agent 47 who works for a mysterious org dubbed the Agency.

I like Diesel, but hes not the Hitman, and this Timothy Olyphant (who ever he is) is not the Hitman.
For me only one name is perfect for the part >>> JASON STATHAM.
and that says it all except
Wake up Luc and get the best actor for the part!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can only assume it was Olyphant's part in "Deadwood" and perhaps some rumored information on his part as the nemesis in the next Die Hard. Who knows.
