Nicolas Cage is a 'Crazy Dog'
New action-thriller for Nic
Production Weekly is reporting that Nicolas Cage has boarded the action-thriller Crazy Dog for director Joe Ruben.
The pic is currently in pre-production with a story that revolves around a New York City cop (Cage) who causes the death of a friend in a moment of cowardice. Consumed by guilt, he goes on a self-destructive spree but then seeks redemption.
Crazy Dog should get underway sometime after Cage completes shooting National Treasure II: The Book of Secrets in which takes Cage and company international as they embark on their latest quest — to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by trying to uncover the mystery behind the 18 pages which are missing from Lincoln’s diary. National Treasure II: The Book of Secrets is looking at a December 21, 2007 release and along with Cage stars Justin Bartha, Diane Kruger, Jon Voight and Harvey Keitel.
