Nicolas Cage has 'Vanished'
I wish I meant literally
Nicolas Cage continues to find work despite proving he can't act in films such as National Treasure, Ghost Rider and Con Air. Truly, Cage and Keanu Reeves need to put out a book on how to dupe Hollywood into thinking you can act because I am baffled. Anyway, Cage is set to star in the thriller The Vanished for Hany Abu-Assad, the helmer behind the Oscar-nominated foreign film Paradise Now.
The pic was written by Larysa Kondracki and Eilis Kirwan and concerns a father who goes in search of his college-aged American-born Muslim son, who's missing overseas.
Focus Features is set to distribute the film which is set to start filming in April, once Cage has finished filming The Wrestler for Darren Aronofsky. Cage will be featured this December in the sequel National Treasure: Book of Secrets.
