Nic Cage Pees Fire in First Trailer for 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance'

Columbia Pictures has just debuted the trailer for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, which features plenty of flaming skull action from chain lassos, fire-breathing skull feature and even the flaming urine of the Rider himself. The film is directed by Crank duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor and once again features Nicolas Cage in the title role joined by Ciaran Hinds, Idris Elba and Johnny Whitworth.
Cage plays Johnny Blaze who after the first film in 2007 is still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter – is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy – and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Well the effects look so much better and the Rider seems more evil so this might not be a turd like the other.
That has more of the "Crank" crazy-action vibe going… could be some stupid fun.

AWESOME. Man, I love it. I think the style works perfectly for the character. Story will likely blow, but aesthetically, this could be pretty fucking sweet.

I'm excited for this. Then again, I've been a fan of GR since the comics. After the movie, I read both series and realized how bad the first one was. This one, they are going for the new series that was released where it's much grittier and realistic, and maybe even some religion thrown in. As long as they stick to the comics, this won't be too big of a bust.
looks like fun to me… I used to really enjoy Nic Cage but it has been really hard to lately… hopefully this is at least a fun ride!

Cage's wig is getting more and more shabby. He needs a sew on wig. I have no issue with a bald Ghost Rider.
Honestly I enjoyed the first despite it had its faults(ie. Wes bentley awful villain) this seems stylized the taylor-nerdine way! lets hope its R now
