Nic Cage and Nic Kidman Featured in Trailer for 'Trespass'
I try and guess how it will all turn out

From out of nowhere Millennium Entertainment has brought on a quick flurry of marketing for the upcoming Joel Schumacher film Trespass, which they've set for an October 14 limited theatrical and on demand release. Considering the fact we're talking about a film featuring not one, but two Oscar-winning actors, it's a tiny bit of a surprise.
Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman star as Kyle and Sarah Miller, an uppercrust couple doing a bit of a renovation on their fancy pants mansion. However, when Sarah's wandering eye lands on Jonah (Cam Gigandet), one of the young men working on their house, things go awry. Tipped by Jonah, Elias (Ben Mendelsohn), the leader of a bunch of thugs who decides it's time for a little home invasion.
Just the concept alone can send the mind wandering down the typical paths the film could take as a couple that's obviously having some troubles is torn apart only to be brought back together as a result of a massive crisis. I'm sure their daughter (Liana Liberato) is a bit of a lost soul who will find her way back by the film's end and the family dynamic will prove stronger than ever as a result of the calamity. But not before it's revealed Sarah was making googly eyes at Jonah, which will lead to a moment of distrust in Kyle as he'll have to ask himself if he truly believes his wife still loves him and if fighting for not only their lives, but for their marriage is truly worth it.
Of course, I'm just saying these things without having watched the trailer. I could be way off, but I won't find out until I see it. You, however, can watch the trailer now and tell me if you think I'm spot on or if I've improperly judged a book by its cover. While I would love to be wrong and read that you see a good film in what is previewed below, I have to admit I'd be sort of proud of myself if I was right.
After watching the trailer you can click here and check out ten images from the film I just added.

Look like it's been sitting on the shelf since 1995.
Spot on Brad. Spot on.
There should just be an unwritten rule that trailers should not include VO or text unless integral to the film. Horrible, just horrible.
Oh man, this looks pretty awesome.. Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage? :o!!! Excited!
Sounds suspiciously like Straw Dogs.
