New Poster and Pics Emerge from 'The Mist'
I am a bit mixed on this one...
When the trailer for The Mist hit online it seemed like most people were happy with what they saw, but outside of a couple of cool effects shots and the music from The Fountain in the background I thought it looked a little cheesy, especially Andre Braugher and Marcia Gay Harden with her "End of Days" quote (I can already tell I am going to want her character to die from the first second I see her). However, it's Frank Darabont working on Stephen King material, and based on The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile we owe it to him to give it a shot.
The latest to come online for the pic are new pictures and a new poster that debuted over at IGN. To the right is a mini image of the poster and the site also has seven new pics from the flick which opens on November 21st. To give the full gallery a look click here.
The Mist is based on the Stephen King novella of the same name in which an ominous creatue exists in a thick and unnatural mist. The film stars Andre Braugher, Marcia Gay Harden, Thomas Jane, Toby Jones and William Sadler. For a look at that trailer I mentioned click here.
