New Narnia Arrives… 'Prince Caspian' Trailer is Here
The trailer looks great, not sure who really cares though
I am feeling this overall sense of no one caring about the new Narnia feature, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and I can't quite seem to put my finger on why. The first film wasn't perfect, but I thought it was still enjoyable, at least enough to provide some level of interest in a follow-up, and since they are going to be bringing all of the books to the big screen I would think there would be more excitement than the chatter that happens on the fansites.
Nevertheless, the new trailer has debuted at NarniaWeb and it looks pretty good. Click on any of the screen captures to take a peek.

But wasn't that the feeling you got for the first film. At least, I don't remember much buzz about it (especially when sitting with audiences during the trailers), and then it ended up making a bajillion dollars and was probably largely responsible for preventing King Kong from becoming a bigger hit than it was.
At least with the first film I think more people recognized the book and knew the story. Everyone knows about the Narnia series because of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, but beyond that I am at a loss… not sure about everyone else.
True, I really couldn't tell you any of the other book titles other than what they've made movies of.
