The New 'Knight Rider' KITT Car!

Jalopnik has gotten their hands on the first image of the new KITT car for NBC's "Knight Rider" and I am starting to think this just may become the most highly publicized television show ever considering it isn't supposed to even hit the air until fall 2008.
The car is a 550 HP Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang and according to the site they say it is 100% the real deal. The exact quote is, "Sources with the involved companies tell us this is the real car — the actual car to be used in the show." They do say, however, that since the red light in front wasn't working when the photos were taken they have been Photoshopped in.
