A new trailer for Fox's X-Men Origins: Wolverine was originally expected to debut online tomorrow morning at 9 AM PST, but USA Today has the jump on it and has delivered it to the online masses a few hours early.
The new pictures at the top of this post come from USA Today's gallery.
Wolverine hits theaters on May 1 and is really the first blockbuster-style film of 2009 following this weekend's release of Watchmen. The film tells the story of Wolverine's (Hugh Jackman) epically violent and romantic past, his complex relationship with Victor Creed, and the ominous Weapon X program. Along the way, Wolverine encounters many mutants, both familiar and new, including surprise appearances by several legends of the X-Men universe.
