Waste five minutes with these new videos

Several new videos have been added in the past 48 hours and I thought I would highlight three of them all at once covering a small range of genres with two animated films, neither like the other, and a new clip from Quentin Tarantino's latest film.

The first clip comes via YouTube and The Backlot Buzz where they had a featurette with director Robert Zemeckis related to his upcoming motion-capture film A Christmas Carol. It includes interviews with Zemeckis and actor Jim Carrey as well as a look at some footage and behind-the-scenes assets.

A Christmas Carol hits theaters on November 6.

Next is a new clip from Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds (you can watch three others right here) titled "Jailbreak." The clip comes from Yahoo! where if you click here you can watch it with a 1:30 intro by Tarantino from the Cannes Film Festival. I edited it down to just the one minute clip here.

Inglourious Basterds has received relatively good reviews out of Cannes following its first public screening, but I will have more on that later. The film is set to hit domestic theaters on August 21.

Finally, we have the latest trailer from the Focus Features animation 9 from director Shane Acker and featuring the voice talents of Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer and John C. Reilly.

The film centers around a rag doll living in a post-apocalyptic world in yet another film in which machines are the future enemy, although this one looks like it will actually be good.

9 hits theaters on September 9.

"Nine" looks fantastic! And I canĀ“t wait to see "Inglorious Basterds"… Looks like it will be totally different to any Tarantino film we have seen before… But I will have to wait a little longer to watch them, because I am from Latin America :(….

Everybody seems to be loving the '9' trailers. As do I.

Am I the only one who finds it confusing that we have both "9" and "Nine" coming out?

@Patricia: That was some poor planning. But both are remakes/adaptations, so I guess they both have the right to keep the original names.
