New Trailer and Poster for 'Let Me In'
You don't need to be at Comic Con to see most of the marketing
MTV has unveiled the new trailer for the Let the Right One In remake Let Me In shortly after its debut at Comic Con. When the international trailer debuted there were a lot of complaints, some attacking the look of the film and many attacking the fact it's being made at all. Well, here's your chance for another evaluation.
The film stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Chloe Moretz and centers on Owen (Smit-McPhee), an alienated 12-year-old boy who befriends Abby (Moretz), a mysterious young newcomer in his small New Mexico town and discovers an unconventional path to adulthood. It's based on John Ajvide Lindqvist's best-selling Swedish novel, which received an adaptation in its native tongue in 2008.
I've added the trailer directly below and the poster just below that. Leave your thoughts in the comments. The plan remains for Overture to release the film on October 1 following Relativity Media's recent acquisition of the fledgling studio.
You can get a larger look at the poster and two other images from the film here.

I really hope they leave the castration aspect out of the movie. It works quite well in the novel, but, it didn't seem to fit within the original movie, something you pointed out in your review, Brad.
Hi Brad, i found this poster uploaded on the movie FB page, looks like another gorgeous promo poster.:-)
im starting to really look forward to this, ive heard murmurs that its quite good
I still feel as if Let the Right One In will be superior, but will reserve full judgement until after I see this one. From the trailer, looks to me as if they're just trying to piggyback on the success of the vampire craze thats sweeping through town. Nothing wrong with that; I just think the original was so much more than just a "vampire" story though. Again, I'll wait and see it before I fully decide anything….
I love Chloe Moretz!
-I agree, the orginial Im sure will be the best version of this story.
-They need to bank more on this vampire craze for a bit…at least this a good vampire story to tell.
-It looks like a pretty spot on remake but I dont think they could top that lil girl from the original…
I'm just as annoyed by all the remakes as everyone else but I have faith in this cast, especially Koteas.
