New Pics and Poster from Affleck's 'The Town'
This is a hold up

I've just added two new pictures and the brand new poster from Ben Affleck's upcoming film The Town, which hits theaters on September 17, but will first premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier that same month, where I expect I'll be catching it.
The film serves as Affleck's follow-up to his 2007 directorial debut Gone Baby Gone and centers on Doug MacRay (Affleck) who becomes enamored with Claire Keesey (Rebecca Hall), the manager of the bank he and his pals have just robbed, but she doesn't know he was one of them. Affleck co-wrote the script with Peter Craig and Aaron Stockard who wrote the original draft based on Charles Hogan's novel "Prince of Thieves." The film co-stars Jon Hamm, Jeremy Renner, Blake Lively, Pete Postlethwaite and Chris Cooper.
Today I have for you two brand new pictures from the film including the one above and the first look at the poster directly below courtesy of Apple.

Looks pretty awesome. Recalls The Dark Knight a bit to much though. They're gonna have a hard time topping that awesome heist in the opening sequence…
This is my most anticipated movie of september. I think it will get an at least 85% on Rotten Tomatoes and will get up above $75 million domestic box office.
I'm really excited for this, but man are those masks creepy!
I prefer the international poster. This poster makes it look stupid. Although I do really want to see it. I've heard good and bad also.
Here's the better poster:

Like the photos down the bottom. Very 80s.
Yeah, I think the international poster looks better.
I'm really excited for this film, but I doubt it makes anywhere near $75 million in US/Canada. I say it tops out at $40 million.
