New Pics and Poster for Nic Cage's 'Sorcerer's Apprentice'
My Nic, you've got much more hair than I previous thought

I liked Nic Cage in Kick-Ass, but his upcoming role in Disney's The Sorcerer's Apprentice (7/16) looks a bit… off. I have yet to watch any of the trailer footage, but the pictures alone look a bit weird to me as he plays a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina).
Cage's National Treasure helmer, Jon Turteltaub, is directing and it co-stars Jay Baruchel, Teresa Palmer, Toby Kebbell and Monica Bellucci.
I've added two new images to the RopeofSilicon gallery as well as the new poster. One of the new images is directly above, the poster is below and the other new pic of Molina can be found right here.

I'm looking forward to this kids adventure movie, don't know about you guys. I've always liked Nic Cage movies (except Wicker man {Shiver}). He was especially good in Kick-Ass. So this looks like another fun ride. I just hope it doesn't turn out like that extremely crappy Spiderwick Chronicles.
PG-13?
I'm sorry but the mention of national treasure has just put me off altogether.
This movie looks unbearable, but I LOVE the music in the trailer.
