New 'Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader' Teaser Poster
Hitting theaters in December
20th Century Fox has unveiled the teaser poster for The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which is set to be released on December 10. This is the third film in the Narnia franchise and the first to be released by Fox as Disney did not pick up the rights for the third film after the less-than-expected box-office returns.
Michael Apted is directing and all the stars of the original film are back including Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Ben Barnes, Will Poulter, Gary Sweet, Bruce Spence, Arthur Angel, Shane Rangi and Liam Neeson as the voice of Aslan.
The new synopsis reads as follows:
Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their pesky cousin Eustace Scrubb – find themselves swallowed into a painting and on to a fantastic Narnian ship headed for the very edges of the world.
Joining forces once again with their royal friend Prince Caspian and the warrior mouse Reepicheep, they are whisked away on a mysterious mission to the Lone Islands, and beyond. On this bewitching voyage that will test their hearts and spirits, the trio will face magical Dufflepuds, sinister slave traders, roaring dragons and enchanted merfolk. Only an entirely uncharted journey to Aslan's Country – a voyage of destiny and transformation for each of those aboard the Dawn Treader – can save Narnia, and all the astonishing creatures in it, from an unfathomable fate.
Here's the poster and if you haven't seen them yet, here are some pictures I took of a huge Narnia billboard on display here in Cannes.

It looks a little to much like the Avatar teaser poster, and whats with the mouse, that is just to distracting, but the title and date look great.
The mouse makes this poster gay
Stop using 'gay' as a synonym for something you don't like. It's homophobic. It's wrong.
I fucking hate the term homophobic because it's idiotic and inaccurate. Being phobic means being afraid of something and there isn't a person in the world who is afraid of gay people. People who say gay in this way are being insensitive, not bigoted and people who are offended by people using gay in this way are pathetic and oversensitive.
And you're pathetic and insestive too. Kids are being bullied every day because people like you won't make a stand. Using the word 'gay' as an adjective for stupid is not acceptable any more. http://www.thinkb4youspeak.com
Reepicheep is awesome and I am glad he's there. So there.
Yaaaa, he's a cool 'kickass' rodent.
Oh goody. Another allegory movie for overly religious dipshits to flock to.
Someone is cynical…
of course its in 3D
Wow. Going to a movie based on an allegorical fictional piece of literature drawn from Christianity makes me a "dipshit." I guess "to each his own" is just a meaningless phrase. I auppose we should all just drop our own beliefs and bow to your infinite knowledge Mr. Mark. I can't believe I have been so blind. My path to salvation and enlightment was, all this time, being called a nasty name. I can now spread peace throughout the galaxy. Nanoo-nanoo.
you, sir, are a bad-ass. I was gonna say somethin to him, but man, I gotta hand it to ya. That was awesome.
Um…was the mouse really necessary?
