A user over at the SuperheroHype Forums posted the image of The Hulk you see above from The Avengers and it has fans over there cheering about the quality of the CG and how much it looks like Mark Ruffalo. For comparison sake I have included a pic of Ruffalo from the film directly below.

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger, Marvel's The Avengers is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

The Avengers hits theaters on May 4 and is directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Cobie Smulders, Stellan Skarsgard and Tom Hiddleston.

I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in the new Hulk. HE IS WAY TOO SMALL!!

C'mon , a basketball player is bigger than him. It's ridiculous... The Hulk is supposed to give the impression of being able to smash a mountain in pieces;the Hulk in this movie, at most, makes me think he can grind a car to pieces - that is a CAR not a BUS... They should've stuck with the size used in the prior movie.

I can confirm your concern is off base.
