New Look at Josh Brolin in 'Jonah Hex'

Warner Bros. sent over a new image featuring Josh Brolin in the upcoming June 18 comic adaptation Jonah Hex in which plays the title character, a scarred drifter and bounty hunter of last resort, a tough and stoic gunslinger who can track down anyone…and anything. Having survived death, Jonah's violent history is steeped in myth and legend, and has left him with one foot in the natural world and one on the "other side." His only human connection is with Lila (Megan Fox), whose life in a brothel has left her with scars of her own. Jonah's past is about to catch up with him when the U.S. military makes him an offer he can't refuse: in exchange for his freedom from the warrants on his head, he must track down and stop the dangerous terrorist Quentin Turnbull (John Malkovich). But Turnbull, who is gathering an army and preparing to unleash Hell, is also Jonah's oldest enemy and will stop at nothing until Jonah is dead. Based on the legendary character from the graphic novels, "Jonah Hex" is an epic adventure thriller about one man's personal quest for redemption against the vast canvas of the battle between good and evil.
The film is directed by Jimmy Hayward (Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!) and also stars Will Arnett and Michael Shannon.
Recently there were rumors the film had been delayed as Brent Hinds of Mastodon, who's scoring the film, hinted at such a possibility. However, Warner Bros. promises the film will meet its release date and we can expect the first trailer on April 29 attached to prints of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

i have a feeling this one is going to flop hard
I am still looking forward to this (based on the cast), but that makeup is just not very impressive. It seems the burns (or whatever) actually gave Mr. Hex more skin than he originally had. More skin and Megan Fox?! Luckiest guy ever! Makes you wonder why he's always scowling.
That make-up really doesn't work for me… not that I really know the character well. I think I saw him on an old episode of the Batman animated series, and that's about it. Still, the way he was drawn, I always assumed that he had lost some cheek to the far side of his mouth. Here he looks like he grew some weird connection between his upper and lower lip.

I expect the trailer to premire during the losers. They are both dc. I think its stupid how the losers is pg13 when you look at the comic and it cusses a lot and theres a good amount of blood.
The trailer is suppose to be out in 2 weeks, and what csdot said, it will be playing with N,O,E,S. It's always in the States though, everytime they say the new trailer will be playing before the movie it never does here in Canada so it must be only in the states.
This is going to get eaten alive by a certain movie that weekend. bad, bad, BAD release date.
This movie is screwed. The day toy story 3 comes out, the week after the a-team. Man, these people should move it if they wanna make money. Cuz i doubt many people have actually heard of jonah hex and josh brolin isnt exactly the biggest money bringer inner.
Against Toy Story 3, nope…this won't be at the top 20. $130M at least
