New 'Inception' Poster to Gaze Upon
The world folds on top of us...
I have pretty much no idea what Inception is about and the fact other people are searching for the meaning of the film, which is being intentionally guarded baffles me. The days of going into a theater and being engaged by a wholly unknown story seems to be lost on many people. Oh well, not my problem, I just know there are certain blog posts I will certainly be avoiding.
However, one thing that's impossible to avoid are pictures and posters, the latest of which has just arrived thanks to Warner Bros. and can be viewed directly below and a slightly larger version can be seen in the RopeofSilicon gallery here.
Inception is directed by Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight) and stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe, Tom Hardy, Lukas Haas and Tom Berenger. The film hits theaters on July 16.

i think Nolan has succeeded in presenting us with something thats very interesting without spoiling major info, hell any info about the plot!!i think the last film to do that was the X FILES which we all know how that turned out..
This is the movie I can't wait to see.
Awesome poster. This is by far my most anticipated movie of the year. The fact that noone knows what it's about just adds to my anticipation.
I think it's suppose to be a type of heist movie. My guess is it's along the lines of DiCaprio and his team breaking into the minds of individuals to steal thoughts and ideas, hence ther tagline "your mind is the scene of the crime"
Or maybe I'm wrong, who knows. The music in the trailers by the way sounds amazing. Can't wait!
Hmmmm, I prefer the DiCaprio standing in the water one better, but this is pretty cool. It looks kinda weird with the cast just standing there, but not bad
Um hello, where is the theatrical trailer
Absolutely horrible poster. Still my most anticipated film of the year, but damn, couldn't they think of something more inspiring?
I wouldn't say it's too much anticipated. I just can't be excited about it. But hey, I'm watching Iron Man 2 on IMAX for my first experience today! (Philippines) It's kind of weird since Elm Street will be out next week.
Inception is my most anticipated film of the year; I'm hoping for something truly original and revolutionary a la The Matrix. That being said, if they don't want this to bomb horribly at the box office, they do need to reveal more of the plot. The names of Nolan and DiCaprio alone won't be enough to sell it.
I disagree. I think people will be intrigued more by not knowing to much of the plot… I know I am. And Nolan's named attached to anything means I'm there… Has been that waysince I accidently stumbled upon "Memento" 10 years ago.
Guys, the plot summary has been out for months! Here it is:
"The film follows an agent named Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) who can drug up tycoons and enter their minds to find out their secrets and strategies. Cobb then uses the secrets to sell to the highest competing bidder. However, the mind is a volatile place, where places can rearrange and people can have power much stronger than in reality, and the complications of the mind can create dreamscapes that can end in mere seconds, trapping the agents with them. After a heist gone wrong, Dom and his team (Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page) become under attack by a CEO (Ken Watanabe) looking to use the technology for his own singular greed."
- It seems like a great film, but don't act like Nolan hasn't released the information; I think that plot summary sums it up quite nicely.
Ha! I almost got it right
Actually you were spot on; it is about DICaprio's team stealing thoughts and ideas. Either its predictable or you're just a damn good guesser.
I will choose the latter for now. I just remembered hearing somewhere that Nolan said he wanted to do heist movie and DiCaprio's narration in the second trailer obviously implies stealing and the movie doesn't seem like it all takes place within the real world.
I must say though, at least now that I really think about it, it seems like Nolan and crew have decided to film both the dream world and the real world in almost the exact same manner. Probably as a way to ask the question about the differences between dreams and reality
Tom Berenger in the movie "Inception" is a great added value of great recitatvo and presence, in short, a great actor.
I hope that Nolan has given him a role, let it get to the oscar award

The man should've won for Platoon years ago. Then again I didn't see Hannah and Her Sisters.
"Platoon" is great film, Tom Berenger is great actor in "Platoon", Tom Berenger is great actor in this last 30 Years (Tom Berenger with Al Pacino is the best actor in the World), Tom Berenger deserve the oscar for film how "Platoon", "Gettysburg", "The Big Chill", "Rough Riders" and again others film.
"Hannah and Her Sisters", is normal film and not deserve the oscar.
"Hannah and Her Sisters", they have buy the oscar.
