New Image from 'Nine' Arrives
Daniel Day takes a smoke break
Entertainment Weekly debuted the new image from Rob Marshall's musical Nine which is featured to the right.
It isn't exactly a mind-blowing pic as the only clear face we get is of the happy gent in the background, but considering this is the Weinstein Co. we are talking about I guess we should be happy with whatever we get. On the other hand, we do get a nice little short story blurb accompanying the pic:
In Nine, an adaptation of Fellini's 8 1/2 out Nov. 25, Daniel Day-Lewis (right) plays a film director surrounded by alpha women, including Penélope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, and Kate Hudson (left), who plays a Vogue reporter. "It was new territory for him," director Rob Marshall (Chicago) says of his star, recalling the message the actor left accepting the role. "He said, 'Book the soundstages, and God help me."'
Nine hits theaters on November 25 and focuses on Guido (Day-Lewis), a film director stuck in neutral as he tries to make a film while haunted by the demands of all the women in his life, including a wife, mistress and even his deceased mother.
Hopefully we will get a teaser trailer soon. Even though I am avoiding all trailers I think I will have to lift my ban and give the trailer for this one a watch.

DDL owns. I would watch him watching paint dry.
One can only hope that Kate Hudson may actually be decent in this. At least it's not some other crappy romantic comedy she's been dishing out the past several years. At least she's nice to look at.
P.S. DDL rules.
DDL is a badass.
Greatest actor EVER.
Nicole Kidman rocks too.
but DDL owns.
