Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, to be fully produced in 3-D, is the latest installment to the hit "Ice Age" franchise, which has grossed more than $1.2 billion around the world. "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" will be directed by Oscar-nominated Carlos Saldanha, who directed "Ice Age: The Meltdown" and co-directed "Ice Age." The film is being produced by Academy Award-winning Blue Sky Studios, the creative force behind all the "Ice Age" films and Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who.

While I loved the first Ice Age, I hated part 2; I left the theater very annoyed – the film was just childesh and, quite frankly, extremely annoying. I hope the third film will impress.
Part 1 was great, Part 2 was surprisingly good. This Part 3, though… mmm… eh…. I don't know. The trailer doesn't look that great. I didn't see the first two in theaters, so I won't feel obligated to see this one in theaters, either. Chances are Scrat will be the scene-stealer again.
Well Brad… this will be more than just a hit… This is amongst the 7 films this year which i believe have the potential to cross 600 mil worldwide (Angels and Demons, Harry Potter 6, Transformers, Night at the Museum2, T4 and Avatar being the others)
Brad to Athar: Are you calling me out or something? Is saying something is going to be a hit not enough anymore or are you just laying out what you believe will be moneymakers? Sort of an odd way to start a comment.
O… Didnt want to be rude or anything… Just wanted to point out that the movie has the potential of being more than just a hit… No offence intended.
