Fox has released a new featurette for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (Fox; 7/11) along with a teaser for the new trailer, arriving on May 8.

The featurette comes as part of a "New York Times" piece on the movie and the training that goes into turning actors into apes, notably Judy Greer (picture at bottom of this post) and Toby Kebbell. From the "Times" piece:

The secret to being apelike, Mr. Notary said, is to disengage your brain. "We're just sort of undoing the social conditioning that we're subject to as humans and becoming the animals that we really are." It has its perks: "You see everything all at once," he said of our heightened primate senses. "If anything moves in the room, you will feel it."

Check out the full featurette and trailer teaser below. I'll have the trailer for you on May 8.

It's rare for me to watch these types of featurette's, especially before i see the film, it kinda ruins the 'magic' of cinema.

Those looked like some angry monkeys riding those horsies.

If they can capture the same magic as the first film provided, I'm there opening weekend.
