And the beat goes on as Warner Bros. has revealed a new TV spot (see above) for The Dark Knight Rises, this one titled "Doctor" and featuring Thomas Lennon (Reno 911!: Miami) of all people along with a new midnight IMAX poster featuring the face of Bane, the film's villain played by Tom Hardy.
Additionally, if you need even more, a new trailer titled "Journey" has landed over at Xfinity, but it looks like you'll need to upgrade your Microsoft Silverlight player (because that's something we all care about) to get it to play.
As for the following midnight poster (via Fandango), this will be an exclusive for those that attend the midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises on July 20 in IMAX, just as the company did for screenings of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Prometheus and The Avengers.
Now, there's a poster.
Looks like this film might have some good laughs
Best Dark Knight Rises imax poster of all time...
I think there is some sort of spider on his face
The bat across the eyes and forehead are a bit more predominant to me. Great poster. I'm curious why they didn't advertise the Bane/rise stuff from the start.
Nolan is throwing in some Memento alumni here too, eh?
Ironically, Thomas Lennon played a doctor in that film as well. He must be Nolan's go-to guy for that role.
That's bass
That "Journey" trailer is absolutely great, ties all 3 films together well. The last minute & 1/2 got me so pumped to see this. Totally worth upgrading my Microsoft Silverware player, or whatever it is.
Better posters are always welcome....But Not watching any more TV Spots/ Trailers/ featurettes...i already know what i need to know , which is : " I am there come July 20 "...
That is the scariest thing I've ever seen. Now THIS is a movie.
