A new trailer for M. Night Shyamalan's new movie After Earth took advantage of Monday being Earth Day to turn Tuesday into "After Earth Day". Get it, because it's the day after Earth Day it's "After Earth Day" and After Earth just so happens to be the title of the movie, which means if you think about it, it actually is "After Earth Day". Yeah... words are fun.
As for the film, it was recently bumped up a smidge to a to a May 31 release date, which is when Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith will return to Earth one-thousand years after its virtual destruction as General Cypher Raige and his 13-year-old son, Kitai respectively.
When an asteroid storm damages Cypher and Kitai's craft, they crash-land on a now unfamiliar and dangerous Earth. As his father lies dying in the cockpit, Kitai must trek across the hostile terrain to recover their rescue beacon. His whole life, Kitai has wanted nothing more than to be a soldier like his father. Today, he gets his chance.
