MUST WATCH: See Johnny Depp as 'The Libertine'

I have no idea why Miramax has kept this on their shelves for so long considering the recent excitement surrounding Johnny Depp, but it seems we won't have to wait much longer as Ddecember 23rd (I hope) spells the limited release of his next outing The Libertine and iFilm has just uploaded the first look at the teaser trailer with a running time of 1 minute and 16 seconds, and I must say I am hooked.
The Libertine centers on John Wilmot, the second Earl of Rochester who has a passionate romance with a young actress, Elizabeth Barry, and he writes a scurrilous play which lampoons the monarch who commissioned it, Charles II, leading to the Earl's banishment and eventual downfall.

The trailer dubs the film "The Most Controversial Movie of the Year" and it also stars the likes of John Malkovich and Samantha Morton. Thank the maker the Weinstein's are getting this one out there!
