Murray Negotiating 'Garfield 2'
A sequel is not needed then Murray signs on.
I am still trying to figure out just why exactly some movies are made and then I remember that movies aimed at kids always bring in a TON of money regardless of how good they are and that is proved once again as the sequel to the 2004 modest hit Garfield is gaining a cast… that's right… Garfield 2.
First off, Bill Murray will be reprising his role as the voice of the fat orange cat while Breckin Meyer and Jennifer Love Hewitt are both in talks to reprise their roles as Jon Arbuckle and Liz Wilson respectively.
New members to the cast will be Lucy Davis and Billy Connolly. Davis will play animal lover Abby Westminster, a fashionable professional who has been brought in to try and trap Lord Dargis (Connelly) into revealing his evil plans.
Tim Hill will be directing the feature which is currently eyeing a July 28, 2006 release.
