Murray Caught 'Stealing Cars'
WB signs on young actor.
I am just now screening the fifth season DVD set of the teen drama "Dawson's Creek," a season in which Chad Michael Murray is prominently featured and now the young man is reported to be in final negotiations to star in the drama, Stealing Cars, for Warner Bros. Pictures.
The film centers on a rebellious teenager (Murray) who is guilt-ridden over the accidental death of his father and spirals into delinquency that lands him at the tough and corrupt Arizona Juvenile Institution. There, he clashes with inmates and abusive administrators. With the help of the local sheriff and the resident nurse, he unites his fellow inmates and faces off against the demons at the institution and within himself.
Murray was recently seen in the Hilary Duff headliner A Cinderella Story for Warners and will next be seen in the horror remake of House of Wax on May 6th.
