Murphy and Liu are 'Watching the Detectives'
Might sound criminal but it is actually a rom-com
Variety is reporting that Cillian Murphy and Lucy Liu are set to team up in Watching Detectives for writer/director Paul Soter.
The romantic comedy is about a film noir buff whose world is turned upside down when a real-life femme fatale provides far more adventure than he ever experienced.
Shooting is set to begin Monday in New York City. The pic marks Soter's directorial debut, but as a one-time member of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe you can get a pretty firm idea of what direction this pic may go from that.
