Steven Spielberg executive produces this 10-part mini-series for DreamWorks Television.

The story follows 50 years of alien abductions centered around the lives of three American families.

The story begins with the famed 1947 crash at Roswell, New Mexico and introduces the "Greys" and the three families that, over the course of ten 90-minute episodes, are abducted, probed, and impregnated.

All ten episodes are unique as each is directed by a different director. The directorial reigns are taken by Breck Eisner, Félix Enríquez Alcalá, John Fawcett, Tobe Hooper, Jeremy Paul Kagan, Michael Katleman, Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, Bryan Spicer, Jeff Woolnough, and Thomas J. Wright.
