SYNOPSIS:
Claudio (Elio Germano) has been a construction worker for thirty years working in one of the many sites on the outskirts of Rome. He is married and has two children and is expecting a third. His relationship with his wife, Helen (Isabella Ragonese), is picture perfect, but this happy existence is turned upside down when Helen dies and Claudio is not prepared to live alone.
He ends up trying to rid himself of the pain and move his grief in another direction and tempts fate in an effort to give his children what they have not yet had -- the welfare, money, whims and holidays. In a word "things." He begins hunting a deal he can't handle alone and is forced to turn to the only ones he can trust.
