Tells the story of ex-con Clyde Barrow (Beatty), who first meets his accomplice/sweetheart (Dunaway) when she interrupts him trying to steal her mother’s car. The two work their way across the southwest on a whirlwind crime spree, becoming known as the Barrow gang, which includes their driver, C.W. (Pollard), Clyde’s brother Burt (Hackman) and Burt’s wife (Estelle Parsons).
