AIt's not often you come across a film this well-crafted, this elegant and this unbearable. I got no enjoyment out of watching Michael Haneke's Amour, but to dismiss it on the basis of which it is not meant to be judged would be to ignore the accomplishments within... Even if I will never watch it again.

SYNOPSIS: Georges and Anne are in their eighties. They are cultivated, retired music teachers. Their daughter, who is also a musician, lives abroad with her family. One day, Anne has an attack. The couple's bond of love is severely tested.
