All this movie is missing is justin bieber , when is hayden cristiansen going to learn its not about posing for pictures… terrible i wont see this crap but people that have no taste will and we live in a world were people dont respect other peoples stuff and just take it this is a movie with wannabe jokers but america eats this crap….

i personaly loved the movie and think it is worth seeing soo with that said i think it is well worth going too see and yes i love chris breezzzzzy!!!!!!!

If you've been interested in seeing this movie don't let some of critic's reviews stop you. I'm glad I didn't. It was quite an enjoyable popcorn movie. I didn't find it silly at all. It's not going to win any Oscars but it's a fun ride. At the end, I actually felt I wanted to see it again.

WOW! I didnt think it was that bad at all! I enjoyed it. The characters did very well in my opinion. There were few cliche moments, as to be expected. Overall, I think it was interesting, funny at times and well put together. Chris Brown scene was good (would say great, but I'm sure others opinions of great are within the likes of Will Smith) If nothing else, LADIES…you'll like the movie. Maybe the men are the hard critics :p

This review is so spot on. It is a very silly movie, but I went and saw it for fun. T.I. is horrible–so bad, in fact, that whenever he came onscreen, I cringed. Chris Brown did much better than he did, but I just didn't buy that chase scene. It was so implausible that it lost me. The only highlights for me were Matt Dillon (I like him–I had a strange flash of The Outsiders when I saw him in this one), Idris Elba (oh yes, that underwear scene WAS gasp-worthy)and Hayden Christensen wearing that dorky hat. So yes, this movie is fun because it's horrid. And afterward, you'll be saying, "PLEASE don't let T.I. come out in another movie."

the movie was better then what most critic would allow it to be dont be fooled by the Italian Job set up. Chirs brown chase and get way was breath taking like the beign of james bond. Paul walker not a stranger to these types of movies..

Disappointing but I will go and watch it for Elba because I absolutely love the guy for playing Mumbles(RocknRolla)and Stringer Bell (The Wire). I sat through 'The Losers' which was ok so 'Takers' can't be that bad, right?

How unfortunate? I was pretty excited to see this film. I've been a fan of "heist films" since 'Dog Day Afternoon' and when I saw that Elba was involved I assumed it would be amazing. Johnathon Schaech was another draw for me because we are from the same hometown (Marylanders must stick together). Hmph. I've sat through films that deserved much worse grades than 'Takers' got and somehow managed to enjoy myself a little. Perhaps I will catch this during a matinee… I don't know… Probably not.
