I totally agree with your review . This movie is made for silly teenagers who didn't surpass the action figure phase. It has no sense at all and i don't understand why the actors who played this promoted it as a very funny , engaging action movie where they had so much "fun" on the set..it's totally disappointing. At least for Doug Hutchinson .. he interpreted so many villains that had some charisma of their own along time and he said he likes to bring out the more human side in his anti-heros . But in this movie he brings exactly the opposite .. the extreme ridiculous , silly and stupid vilannousness . His character seemed a faint , uninspired and grotesque revival of victor tooms from the x-files reproduced in a film that remembers a silly video game ..What a shame…!!!

Hey, I haven't seen this yet (live in the UK) but I'm a huge Punisher fan so I'm also naturally quite excited. Just wanted to say that's probably the most pragmatic and fair review of a movie I have ever read. Each to their own, eh? Good man.

@Dangerman_1973: I spoke with a fan of the Garth Ennis comic tonight and have even a better understanding on why comic fans are going to enjoy this flick. My personal opinion remains, but I hope, based on my review, the fans of the comic will understand I know there is an audience for this flick.

I agree with JD92. Just watched the movie, and I know Brad complains about the bad things about War Zone.

But hey, I'll take Jigsaw's campiness over Tom Jane's putting fake fire hydrants on the wrong place anytime.

Overall, War Zone, like The Incredible Hulk, is a BIG improvement from Frank Castle's last cinematic adventure. I highly recommend to diehard Punisher fans and comic book action movie fans alike. B-

I applaud you for stating right off the bat that you're neither a fan nor a connaisseur of Castle. Told those of us who are everything we needed to know.
It now SOUNDS as friggin' glorious as it looks!
I'm jonesin' for this flick so bad, I can't even breathe. Can't wait!

Just got back from seeing this movie, I went into it expecting to just get a whole lot of sensless killing and thats what I got, so Im happy with that. I'd recommend to anyone who just wants a bunch of action to go see the movie.

@Brad Brevet: thanks alot dude i find myself, not always on your side either but I like your review's even when i dont agree with them and I'm more into film than comics but punisher just has a special place in my heart, I know how bad the last 2 punisher movies have been but I love the hell out of 'em anyway, ROCK ON dude

sounds like something any Garth Ennis/Punisher fans will be excited about, lord know's I'm one and I can hardly wait, a punisher movie with over the top violence yayyyyy
