I just saw this one: exactly what I expected. Good, solid fun movie. Not epic, just good. Whenever a movie is out, like say, Mr. Fox, or that Days of Summer flick that I still haven't seen--movies predestined to not rule the box office--big dumb fun ACTION flicks seem to get scorned by critics. I'm not saying it's intentional--maybe they don't realize they're doing it--but it's definitely something I'm looking out for in the future. On a side note? I just saw the trailer for Avatar for first time on big screen: looks just as bad as the small screen. No way it's a family pic, but they'll try to market it as such, probably with some success. I hate when you can't see fight scenes; that's why "Transformers 2" and "Alien vs. Predator 2" are horrendous movies- their one true quality you can't experience because they've been edited to s***.
