She was the worst thing on Appaloosa - I keep thinking how her character would become much more interesting if it was Diane Lane instead of her... I guess the last time she truly impressed me was on White Oleander. She had a tiny role, but she really made an impression. I thought My One and Only was fantastic and Renee did an amazing job. I thoroughly enjoyed her performance and am not at all surprised to hear Oscar and Golden Globe rumblings. She caught the perfect tone for her character and the supporting cast was awesome. I would highly recommend it for anyone who is sooooo tired of the neverending crude humor movies (aimed at teenagers) or the very predictable "blockbuster" promoted action movies.
