The rest of them were ridiculous, but friday the 13th 2009 was an awesome movie. The best friday the 13th movie ever, much better than the originals. I liked it so much I saw it twice. This is not worthy of spending $h*t piles of money on. This would make a good Friday The 13th movie "meaning a sequel" . But not a good remake. Where the hell has everyone's imagination gone. Hollywood has this outlook that they can throw in some cliche ridden piece of crap on the table and that everyone will buy it. But the truth is, is that TRUE horror fans will find that this storyline is poorly thrown together and has ABSOLUTELY NO SUBSTANCE WHATSOEVER! It is the same type of crap that "you know who" did with the Halloween "reimagining". A good movie if you want to see a slasher flick, but not a good remake. VERY predictable storyline and outcome. Especially the ending. If you want cheap thrills and a predictable cheap story line, then have at it. But if you are looking for any creative emotional dimension then you might as well l not set your hopes up too high because you will surely be let down. This is dollar movie material.
