More Looks at Rooney Mara in Costume as 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'
Down and dirty
W Magazine has revealed six additional looks at Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander, the titular lead of David Fincher's upcoming adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo of which I wrote about yesterday.
I've included all six in a collage below and you can click here to check them out at W's slideshow.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo stars Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff, David Dencik and Christopher Plummer and is based on Stieg Larsson's internationally best-selling novel centering on a murder mystery looking as far back as 40 years at the disappearance of Harriet Vanger, a scion of one of Sweden's wealthiest families. All these years later, her aged uncle continues to seek the truth. He hires Mikael Blomkvist (Craig), a crusading journalist recently trapped by a libel conviction, to investigate. He is aided by the pierced and tattooed punk prodigy Lisbeth Salander (Mara). Together they tap into a vein of unfathomable iniquity and astonishing corruption.
Columbia will release the film on December 21, 2011.

Noomi Rapace was perfect.
Wow. Yeah, she looks almost exactly how I picture lisbeth from the books. I hope Fincher does the story justice.
Funny how this actually is starting to decrease my interest in this film, and increase my interest in seeing the original now.
^^Exactly
Wichester:
See the original, it's great. If you happen to have Netflix you don't have to wait, it's being streamed.
But I have to admit, I'm still curious enough to see Stellan Skarsgard as Martin. I'm going to be watching the original again.
It's on my Lovefilm list (that's the UK equivalent of Netflix) so I'll hopefully get to it soon.
My main interest in the remake is that it's Fincher directing.
I was just at a lecture given by david frincher at my school and we were shown a teaser of the movie. it looks a w e s o m e
