More Blood and Gore in Another 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters' Red Band Trailer

Revenge is sweeter than candy?

I can't help but get the feeling Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters will be a film Paramount won't be screening for critics prior to its January 25 release, the same as Lionsgate didn't hold a screening of Texas Chainsaw 3D this weekend. However, I wanted to see both, but midnight screenings and matinees are just as hard for me to fit into the daily schedule as they are for everyone else that has a job, though I think this is one I might make an exception for... not because it looks good, but because it just might be a fun review to write.

The film is described as a dark action movie that picks up with the fairy tale siblings (Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton) years after the traumatic childhood incident has turned them into bounty hunters. The following trailer features all the blood and gore you could ask for, all in 3D CG coming right atcha.

Have a look.

I'm actually looking forward to this one, it may not turn to be a great movie but has the potential to be fun and actually be a surprisingly good B-movie, not saying it will but it has the potential to me. Plus, I like Jeremy Renner as an actor a lot and i'm definitely interested seeing him in this type of movie.

Gemma Arterton is very beautiful, i've always liked her physically (beauty) but has disappointed as an actress with the exception of her only good role in the very overlooked Disappearance of Alice Creed & maybe as the princess in Prince of Persia, thought she was fine there. This movie could probably help her a little bit. I'll see this maybe not on it's first week but sooner after, I love guilty pleasures and this certainly by the trailers fits on that area.
