Minghella Helming 'Breaking and Entering'
Cold Mountain director finds another home at Miramax.
Oscar-winner Anthony Minghella has signed on to direct Breaking and Entering for Miramax Films. The story is an original screenplay also written by Minghella, his first since his 1991 debut with Truly Madly Deeply.
The film is currently casting and is expected to begin production in April. This one should draw some big names considering it is an ensemble piece and Minghella's talents aren't exactly clandestine.
The storyline follows contemporary Londoners from a variety of ethnic and class backgrounds whose lives intersect in the seedy inner-city area of Kings Cross.
