Megan Fox Plays Herself in 'How to Lose Friends' but Does She Know It?

Russian stripper stories? Really, this is what it's come to?

In no time at all, a new interview in this month's GQ magazine with Megan Fox, in which she reveals she had some sort of "relationship" with a Russian stripper named Nikita made it around all the movie blogs. Yup, the movie blogs. All the movie blogs were making sure to carry stories about Megan Fox and her Russian stripper relationship in which the two would play around with "perfume" and "body spray" and, well, like, you know, "girlie stuff". Fox even talks about how she tried to get her out of the Russian stripper racket while saying, "She smelled like angels," and how she "was sort of a tough badass, but she’d do these beautiful slow dances to Aerosmith ballads."

Cue the music… However I am not sure if we blast "Kalinka" or "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing".

As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even talk about this at all had it not been for the picture to the right coupled with the irony of the GQ interview and the fact that I saw Megan Fox basically parodying herself yesterday in MGM's How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, to be known from this point forward as How to Lose Friends or HTLFAAP.

In How to Lose Friends, Fox plays Sophie Maes, the newest and hottest Hollywood starlet and to call her a dimwit would probably be close to 100% accurate. Sophie is starring in Mother Teresa: The Making of a Saint, which I featured the faux trailer for back in early August. She is presented as an empty vessel that only exists to look hot and her looks are used to sell magazines, make movies and win awards.

The film plays up the paparazzi angle and how it has become trendy to do outlandish acts in order to get yourself in the spotlight. In How to Lose Friends Sophie can't seem to get around a pool at a party so she slips off her shoes and walks through the pool instead only to emerge from the other side to a smattering of applause. The scene is meant to be more funny than sexy and I don't think Fox quite gets that.

Admittedly, in her GQ interview she also goes on to defend Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens for their personal life exploits and how Disney made them apologize, to which she says, "I hate Disney for making her do that. Fuck Disney." Obviously, there is one difference between Fox and her onscreen persona and that is she doesn't have the Gillian Anderson PR rep around her to clean up these interviews before they hit the stands because when asked by the interviewer if he can get that on record (I guess the first time the record wasn't recording?) she says, "Yeah. Fuck Disney."

Ahhh, look at the mouth on this one. Mommy would be proud.

I can't be sure what to think of Megan Fox. She obviously knows she is treated as a piece of meat in the industry. She admits to loving comic book films and says, "If I get stuck doing comic-book films for the rest of my life, I'll be really happy… I love those types of movies. And I don’t mind being sexy—if it's a character with a backstory and an arc and something progresses."

Does this mean we should expect some major character arc in Transformers 2?

"Transformers 2 is directed by Michael Bay," she says. So, she isn't an idiot, at least to the extent of realizing what is going on.

Perhaps Jennifer's Body will be her big character develophing feature. You know, the one she already made headlines with when she seen emerging topless from the water. How about Whore, a film in which she plays a character by the name of Lost, or is that irony just playing with us?

Megan Fox is pretty. She's 22-years-old and has been engaged to be married to "90210" star Brian Austin Green for almost two years now. She doesn't mind playing up the sexy angle and doesn't care if her career is made up of comic book movies. Of course her age is a factor here and should be looked at as such, but I am not sure if there is anything more to her than just another Sophie Maes.

She is such a great actress, I just wish she would star in every movie. She brings such depth of character that you don't see in Hollywood anymore and I wish her all the success in the world.

To be honest, I don't think she's that pretty. I also think it's a shame that she's encouraging people to treat her like a piece of meat. I pray there are no little girls who are looking up to her as some kind of a role model.

This is rather bias it's obvious the person who write this just doesnt like megan fox. that's no excuse to chat crap about whether you like her or not she's still a human being and you shouldn't judge by the way she appears on cameras you don't really truly know any celebrity for you to judge them is the same as them judging you. wouldn't be very fair would it.
